Get married in Gråsten
Gråsten’s town hall, which is now the hotel, was a venue for many civil wedding ceremonies from the 1950s onwards.
Gråsten municipality and neighbouring Sønderborg municipality have collaborated to offer a unique venue for wedding ceremonies in the stylish and formal surroundings of what was once Gråsten town council chamber. The chamber overlooks Gråsten Palace and Gråsten Palace Lake, and creates the ideal setting for a perfect wedding.
Wedding ceremonies are performed by a registrar from Sønderborg Municipality in the presence of two witnesses.
Wedding arrangements must be agreed with the registry office at Sønderborg Municipality (“Borgerservice” in Danish). “Borgerservice” must process and approve your papers prior to your wedding.
